I CAME FROM THE SEA OF
CORTEZ…
Sometime ago, I lived with the seagulls, whales, schools of fish and with my
people, who worked in the salt mine. It was a land full of turtles, small wooden
canoes (made by my uncle), mosquitos and sun so strong that it burned my skin. I
remember trips to Loreto, Baja in order to get supplies for our little store on
Carmen Island and the turquoise waters of Coronado Island, where my grandfather
had his fishing camp. What a simple life; my grandfather never used any
technology for sounding the depths of his fishing banks; he would only use his
senses.
A good part of my new life in the USA was spent in New Mexico. I remember the art
and the trips from Santa Fe to Albuquerque.
Today, I live far from that life on the Baja Peninsula. I live in one of the most
exciting places on earth, Alaska.
I still remember my home… it has been seven years since I moved to Alaska from
Todos Santos Baja California Mexico, after I closed my Art Gallery in New
Mexico.
Alaska has been full of opportunities for me. Most importantly, my education at Charter
College. It was fun to spend two years of my life struggling to get a degree. I
achieved my goal and have a degree in Business Management.
During that time at Charter College, I got interested in computers. I am
very proud of my CompTIA Certifications.
I am grateful for my technological
experiences while working for OfficeMax, Office
Depot, and at my first job in Alaska, the Anchorage School
District.
I offer you my services in computer
repair. Thank you- Fidencio
